Sending Sunshine Lemon Card

Another installment of Cards-I-Made-at-my-Upline’s-Stamp-Camp! (stampahowlics.com)

This card uses the lemon stamp from the Cup of Tea stamp set (part of the Tea Boutique suite) and the greeting comes from the oh-so-versatile Good Feelings set. You can use the Stamparatus to make sure that your large stamp is centered and has a clear image!

Vellum is making a comeback as an intermediate layer, which creates tints of the base card color (in this case, So Saffron). The lemon die cuts also come from the Teacup Dies, and the DSP band is from the Perfectly Penciled DSP. We finished up with Pearl Basic Jewels, but I think the Effervescent Elements, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, or Opal Rounds would work just as well and bring a little bit of sparkle!

Tea Boutique Suite

Don’t forget that we’re still in Sale-a-Bration and every $50 qualifies you for a special product from the Sale-a-Bration brochure! You can also order from the July-December Mini Catalog and earn Sale-a-Bration credits, so you can spread out the cost of holiday cards if you’d like! You can also earn EGoodies for every $50 spent, which is stackable with Sale-a-Bration AND Stampin’ Rewards for orders over $150!

Hues of Happiness Floral Happy Birthday Card

A continuation of the cards I made at my upline’s stamp camp (stampahowlics.com). This one I sent to one of my friends from college, so I figured it would be a good one to feature on the blog!

This card features a die-cut flower from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper using the Blossoming Happiness Dies and can be easily adapted to coordinate between the flower and card base color. The inside of the card and envelope are stamped with the large flower in Memento ink from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (which comes in a Bundle with the Dies OR a Hues of Happiness Suite Bundle!). The middle layer is dry embossed using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. The ombré strip also comes from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. Finally, we added some Iridescent Rhinestones to complete the card.

The complete list of colors used in the collection (and therefore card bases/layers that would coordinate with flowers) include Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, and Pool Party.

Shimmery Gold Thank You Card

Having trouble viewing this post? Check it out online here!

I love this simple layered Thank You card that I made at my upline’s stamp camp the other day (stampahowlics.com). The Texture Chic DSP gives it a premium look without requiring too much effort! The Distressed Gold Specialty Paper coordinates so well with the DSP, and because of the design, you only need one sheet for two layers!

Use the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut out the small gold layer from the large gold layer, then place the DSP on top to cover the hole! It saves on paper and weight when mailing, not to mention the cost!

This card is simple but elegant and makes me want to make a stack to keep on hand! Don’t forget that we’re in the middle of Sale-a-Bration (while supplies last) so place your orders while products are still available! EGoodies are also available– so make sure to check that out as well!

In-Color Dots Congratulations Card

Having trouble reading this post? View it online here!

In continuation with yesterday’s post, here is another card that I made at my upline’s stamp class (stampahowlics.com). This card prominently features this year’s new 2022-2024 In-Colors of Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, and Starry Sky. We used a recycled paper-style die and embossing folder to create the scrap look for the card. The greeting comes from the Good Feelings set featured on page 18 of the annual catalog.

This card design is great for producing many cards of the same style, as it is easiest to use the hole-punch die on a quarter sheet (or slightly smaller) of paper and then cut it down into strips. I love the In-Color Matte Decorative Dots for this project, giving some dimension and playing along with the missing holes of the paper strips. Combined with the crumpled paper effect of the mid-layer, it looks like I pulled a completed card out of my scrap bin!

The card base used is Basic Black with a Basic White insert and embossed layer. The greeting is stamped using Memento black ink, but StazOn or Basic Black would work as well. We used the Multipurpose Glue for the strips to avoid having Stampin’ Seal show through the holes. The small greeting was cut out using the Stitched Rectangles dies and popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Below are the consumable and non-consumable ingredients used in this card.

What other color families might you make this card with? I could definitely see myself trying out combinations from the Brights Color Collection, as that is usually my favorite collection to pull colors from. Let me know in the comments!

Neutral Fox Greeting Card using Sale-a-Bration Product

Having trouble reading this post? View it online here! View the Sale-a-Bration brochure here!

This card is a great gender-neutral card to send “just because”! Sometimes I want to send a card for no reason at all, so this one will definitely be on the top of the stack for its versatility. I made this card at my upline’s stamp class yesterday (stampahowlics.com) using two stamp sets from the Sale-a-Bration brochure, though you could definitely use an animal from a non-SAB set and/or one of the many greetings available in the annual and July-December Mini Catalogs.

Below are reference images of which Sale-a-Bration sets we used, along with product lists of consumable and non-consumable products used in its creation.

The paper used is the Rings of Love DSP also from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure, along with a vellum layer, a Very Vanilla cardstock layer, and Soft Suede cardstock as the base. We included a Very Vanilla envelope stamped with the “amazing” phrase from the Amazing Phrasing SAB set. We used Soft Suede ink and the Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots from the Annual Catalog. Of course, assembled using Stampin’ Seal (one of my favorites) and Stampin’ Dimensionals to lift the Very Vanilla Layer off of the Vellum Layer. You can use Very Vanilla on the inside to coordinate and to have a light writing surface.

Let me know what you would do to spice things up! If it were closer to winter, I may use the Wink of Stella brush to add some snow-like glimmer. I also like Red Foxes more, so I may switch out the Soft Suede ink with a color like Cajun Craze for the “you’re doing” and the fox images. What do DSP might you use when Sale-a-Bration is over? Let me know in the comments!

Paper Pumpkin - One Stop Box For Creativity

I first joined Paper Pumpkin years ago during a promotion and have enjoyed it ever since. I enjoyed receiving new stamps and Stampin’ Spots monthly to build my collection of product that doesn’t take up much space. The stamps often include cute greetings that can be used on cards and in scrapbook pages, and the Stampin’ Spots can be replenished with Stampin’ Ink Refills to be used over and over (which is cheaper and easier to store than full-size Stampin’ Pads!) — all of which can be ordered at MyStamp.Store.

Subscribers can also purchase refill kits from my online store if there is a month you absolutely love, and you can earn EGoodies on that purchase!

Stampin’ Up! also sells prepaid subscriptions to Paper Pumpkin, so you can purchase 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months in advance with the potential to earn EGoodies AND Host Rewards AND Sale-a-Bration product until 31 August!

June 2022 Paper Pumpkin

Here is an example of what you can expect in a monthly box, complete with accompanying videos on how to complete the projects.

Your first kit also includes an acrylic block for the included photopolymer stamps, so make sure to keep that for your future kits! It’s also a useful tool if you have other clear/photopolymer stamps but don’t want to purchase the full block kit. If you’ve misplaced your clear block, let me know and I can get you a new one!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Paper Pumpkin! Let me know down below what you’re hoping to see in July or what your favorite past kit is!
