I signed up for 4 swap groups this round, which was a lot of work while also finishing up coursework and taking final exams! This swap uses the Sweet Citrus bundle in the Mini Catalog,
I used my Cut & Emboss machine a lot when making my swaps, which was rather difficult when working at my desk in my dorm, thankfully I also have the Mini Cut & Emboss machine which was much easier to maneuver in the small space. It also made it easier to keep my dies in place which I did with a bit of scotch tape to keep my margins even (remember, stamp then cut!). The Stamparatus came in handy when stamping the Blood Oranges as I could use both plates to stamp the Pumpkin Pie and then the Cherry Cobbler.
With Sale-a-Bration going on right now, it’s the perfect time to score a Mini Cut & Emboss machine (in one of our future In Colors) for effectively $30 (down from $63) when joining my team of Stampologists! See below for more information about the special for joining Stampin’ Up!
The banners are cut using the Stylish Shapes dies, with the Cherry Cobbler ends being the smallest banner cut in half and glued on the two ends for a long background banner feel without having a die for that! I embellished the background using the Wink of Stella brush on the leaves and Pumpkin Pie on the oranges in the background using our Blending Brushes.
